Friday 28th August was the day Andrea & Karl chose to tie the knot.The forecast had been for mixed weather, sunny spells with showers. I was shooting with my Second Shooter Louise, and due to the travelling distance, it hadn't been possible to visit the venue beforehand, so we set off early and dropped off at Prescot Register Office on the way to the happy couple's house, to find it was raining. Andrea and Karl are a lovey couple with a natural warmth radiating from them. They have a lovely daughter, Lucy. who has a gorgeous loveliness to her. This was a small intimate wedding, with only 8 guests (an evening reception was held at Ruskin Drive, St. Helens for friends and family).

By the time we arrived at the house, the rain had stopped and the sun was shining. Karl was relaxed and smiling, whilst the lovely Lucy was having her hair and make up done. and Andrea was making herself beautiful. Karl went off to the Register Office in the Limousine, whilst Andrea and Lucy posed for some photographs. Many Brides are a little nervous about the day going smoothly, and we promised Andrea we'd soon relax her. By the time the Limousine dropped her off at the venue she was looking radiant and relaxed. The sun was shining brightly, as she stepped out of the wedding car for a perfect start to the wedding.

The ceremony went very smoothly indeed. Lucy read out a prepared reading, and the best man (Karl's son) read out the well known Bible passage from the Letter To The Corinthians 'Love never boasts', whilst Andrea and Karl read specially written promises to  each other, and one to Lucy as well.

After the signing of the register, there was a photo session in the garden at the rear of the venue, with a lovely Arbour. We took many beautiful photographs of a beautiful family, of which you will see a selection.
