Darryl & Lynnette Sorrell
25th January 2014
Togetherness was the theme for this wedding, in more ways thane one. Not only did two people become one married couple, but lots of people came together to make two of the nicest people's dream come true. Darryll and Lynette's Big Day was on a tight budget, and everybody joined together to create a truly memorable special occasion that otherwise wouldn't have happened. From the decoration, to the catering, photography and entertainment, a memorable day was created that was enjoyed by all.
Whilst the weather wasn't the best, I had prepared for bad weather photography with a back up plan that had to be put into operation. Early morning winds made for a great photo of the bride walking to the church, and the bridesmaids looked truly elegant in stylish dark maroon halter neck dresses. I took some lovely shots throughout the day. Lynette looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her mother, and her two year old daughter Hope as her gorgeous flower girl. All the guests enjoyed an exquisite 3 course meal, and after the speeches, the Happy Couple cut a most unusual Wedding Cake. From the front, it looked like a traditional wedding cake, but from the rear, as the Groom Darryll is a big Batman fan....... You'll see it in the slideshow below.
The day went according to plan, apart from having to take the formal photographs indoors due to heavy rain, but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits. And the evening reception at Southport Football Club was enjoyed by all the guests.

Lynette is so in love in this angled shot.
